A note from your editor ✨
I fully credit Child’s Play and its pint-sized killer Chucky for properly igniting my passion for horror and film generally, and I’m forever thankful to my dad for letting me watch it far too young (I know you’re reading).
The Chucky franchise remains my all-time favourite in the genre and I’ve devoured every single entry into it, from all eight films to each episode of the now-cancelled Syfy series (extra gutting because Season 4 WAS pitched by creator Don Mancini).
While I’m clamouring for more details about the upcoming Chucky and Tiffany projects Jennifer Tilly has teased this week, knowing the franchise lights are still on and that the wheels are turning is enough for me, for now.
As Chucky himself says, “I Always Come Back!”
Keep on screaming 😱,

Any horror buff worth their salt would recommend you Incident in a Ghostland if you requested something particularly disturbing that leaves you with your heart in your mouth 90 per cent of the time.
The 2018 film isn’t an easy watch, exploring themes of abuse and trauma, and it features a particularly brutal twist that will knock the wind right out of your sails.
It’s difficult to sum up the synopsis without giving any major spoilers away, but essentially it follows a mum and her two daughters, and the impact on their lives, after intruders raid their new home.
